Privacy policy
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit this website. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Principle
Only the data required to operate the website and to answer enquiries is processed. The data is not sold and not used for advertising.
3. No cookies, no analytics, no external services
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. No content is loaded from third parties: neither fonts nor maps, videos or social media elements. Visiting the site therefore does not establish a connection to third-party servers.
4. Server log files
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically stores data transmitted by your browser in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the requested file
- amount of data transferred and whether the request was successful
- browser and operating system used
- previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
This processing serves the secure and trouble-free operation of the website and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is the overriding legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 31(1) FADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Contact form
If you use the contact form, the following information is transmitted and delivered by email to the controller:
- name
- email address
- content of your message
- IP address and time of submission
I need your name, email address and message in order to answer your enquiry; the IP address and time serve to protect against abusive mass mailing. The processing takes place in order to answer your enquiry and to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 31(1) FADP; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Providing the data is voluntary; without it, however, I cannot process your enquiry.
To limit automated mass submissions, a counter linked to your IP address is stored on the server for a maximum of one hour and then automatically discarded.
6. Retention period
- Enquiries: your message is stored for as long as is necessary to process it. If the enquiry does not lead to an engagement, it is deleted no later than twelve months after the last contact. If a contractual relationship arises, the statutory retention periods apply.
- Server log files: are deleted automatically by the hosting provider in accordance with its own retention periods.
7. Processing by third parties

The hosting provider processes the data mentioned above on my behalf and is contractually bound to confidentiality. The servers used for this website are located in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). The email mailbox to which form enquiries are delivered is also provided by the same provider. Data is not disclosed to any other third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
8. Data security
The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). This protects all data between your browser and the server in transit, including the information from the contact form.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information about the data processed about you and to its correction or deletion. Under the GDPR, you additionally have the rights to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, please contact the address given above.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the data protection authority responsible for you.
10. Changes
This privacy policy will be updated as soon as the processing of data on this website changes. The version published here at any given time applies.
